Nikki would come, over on occasion, for a visit. One such visit she was wearing ankle socks that didn’t match! One was bright pink, the other bright green! I made fun of her socks so she took them off! She forgot the socks at my house. So the next time I went to Nikki’s house, I wore the socks! Theo and Meike laughed and laughed at me so I took them off and left the socks at their house! The next visit to my house, the socks showed up and were left at my house. This went on and on and became a   tradition. I have the socks now, they are a beautiful memory.
